A leader in tree services

Tree Aesthetics had its beginnings in 1987 in the South West forests of Western Australia where Mark Jurak was carrying out research whilst operating a timber supply business.

By 1992, Mark qualified as a Certified Tree Surgeon and formed Tree Aesthetics, which quickly developed as a leader in tree services.

As well as domestic clients, we are contractually engaged by corporate government, industry, insurance company clients and local government bodies. At times these works are on quotation or tender basis.

Maintaining the highest standards

As a member of the Tree Guild of WA Inc and the International Society of Arboriculture, Tree Aesthetics actively strives to raise the standard of work practices within the industry.

Tree Aesthetics places great emphasis on quality control and the use of correct and up-to-date procedures. All equipment is well maintained for optimum performance, and all insurances are in place.

aesthetic

That is exactly what Mark wanted to convey when he chose this name for his tree services company.

Mark, a qualified tree surgeon, and his well-trained staff, are dedicated to preserving the health and beauty of trees, wherever they are. However, there are times when trees become intrusive, dangerous, diseased, get into powerlines or become a fire hazard risking life and property. That is when sensible action is needed to prevent critical situations.

Many "lopped" trees suffer serious consequences. The resulting regrowth (branches which grow vigorously but attach weakly to the cut tree wound) detach easily and frequently drop on roofs, cars, fences and amenity areas. This practice can certainly be avoided by correct treatment of the tree canopy.

Crown thinning and canopy reduction or restoration will have the stabilising effect required to keep a tree healthy and safe and enhance its natural beauty. The wind can then play through the crown, which is then able to support the extra weight on foliage during wet weather.

Once a tree has been lopped it not only looks ugly, it attracts pests and diseases, and requires repeat lopping, weakening the tree until it must be removed for safety. This practice costs a lot of money and anxiety and can be avoided if the tree is treated correctly in the first instance.

Mark is available with his expert advice on planting correctly, explaining the physiology of trees and their care. Although he is a busy person, he will always find time to discuss your concerns.
